Who do we broadcast to?
We serve the Worcestershire Royal Hospital, opened in March 2002.
The Acute Hospital NHS Trust administers patient care within the NHS.
Patients therefore cover the complete range of possibilities, from short stay to long
stay, with wards covering such things as ante- and post-natal care, accident and emergency
as well as dedicated psychiatric unit.
Our studios are not located within a ward environment, being built within the confines of
the Aconbury East Administration Unit. The Aconbury unit also contains wards for patients.
Our visibility within the hospital itself is helped enormously by our band
of ward visitors who regularly visit the wards, chat to patients and collect requests.
We also welcome guests to our studio centre, be they former patients or
from the local organisations or media.
