Andy Dean

Andy is our in-house musical theatre nut. He currently does a two hour programme on Friday nights where he plays all the best music from the West End, Broadway and Hollywood.

He also runs Starlight Productions which organises all our theatre trips which help raise money for the station. These could be local or as far afield as London and Manchester for shows such as The Lion King, Les Misérables and The Producers

Andy also works as a chef at the hospital and is the Head Chef for an outside catering company called DTR Catering which does pig roasts, barbecues and buffets for birthdays, weddings and outside events such as Spetchley Gardens Illuminated Trail.

Andy first fell in love with musical theatre when he was about 12 years old and watched The Sound Of Music. He has since gone on to have seen in excess of 100 different performances of various shows, of which Les Misérables is the favourite.
